God’ Promise of Healing!

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

The subject of divine healing is a greatly neglected part of most people’s Christianity. It is rarely even discussed in “mainstream” churches. The primary reason for this neglect is that a very real Satan the Devil has blinded the vast majority of humanity—including most professing Christians! Unfortunately, today, many churchgoers do not really study the Bible. They do not look to it as the real “authority” in their lives. They are content to follow the teachings and traditions of men—which are all too often diametrically opposed to the Bible. We can prove the matter of divine healing clearly from the inspired word of God. And the biblical proofs are more plain and pervasive than you have probably ever imagined.   (more…)

Healing Vs. Medicine

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

We see that many ideas that have circulated in the faith community have not always been consistent with the Scriptures, and seem to lack balance in the approach to the subject of healing, medicine and health. There is a need for better understanding of these subjects and related biblical principles. Faith is obviously a major factor (Matthew 9:29). Where we place our trust is also a factor (2 Chronicles 16:12). Getting advice from a doctor who is knowledgeable about the human body and disease is not the same as putting blind trust in any medical practitioner—the Bible does say that there is safety in a multitude of counsel (Proverbs 11:14; 15:22). The Grandeur of God’s Commandments (Part II)

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

Most people have been taught that God’s law was done away—or else you simply have not realized that it is the only way of life that will bring mankind true happiness and joy. You have not realized that God’s law reveals the very nature and character of God Himself. And God commands us: “Be holy, for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16). Remember that the true Christians, the “little flock” of Jesus, are described as those “who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Revelation 12:17). And God gives this description of the character of His saints: “Here is the patience of the saints: here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12). If you are to be counted among God’s true saints who will escape the seven last plagues, you will have to have this living faith—this obedient faith—in Almighty God through Jesus Christ living His life in you! You will have to understand and keep God’s spiritual law as revealed in the Ten Commandments! (more…)

The Grandeur of God’s Commandments. (Part I)

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

Today’s “modern” society is in conflict over the Ten Commandments. Have they been “done away” by divine fiat or by mankind’s march toward scientific knowledge? Should they be displayed in public places, or reserved for the church? Are they a burden to “enlightened” people, or a blessing to those who obey them? King David said, “O how love I thy law!” and called it perfect; the Apostle Paul called it holy, just and good; Jesus honoured, magnified, obeyed, and commanded obedience to the Ten Commandments. But to most people, the Ten Commandments remain an enigma that has never been understood. This booklet explains plainly this inexorable living law, soon to become the basic law of tomorrow’s peaceful, prosperous, joyful world! (more…)
