Youth!

Together with the social integration of the individual, our realm is to help build faith, hope, and love in the hearts of the local young people in order to motivate them through there personal growth, helping them to be spiritually equipped and live lives pleasing to God.

To be committed to the proposed work, witch is of spiritual nurture, as well as social and humanitarian, takes three things—vision, professionalism, sacrifice, and a heart for God, that is what the Crossed Waves Ministries is about. We are aware that it takes vision knowing that our service and our influence to our young population will make a difference and it takes sacrifice. Our sacrifice will be well worth it as we see what God will be doing in the lives of children we touch. More than any other motive for serving others is the simple fact that God is worthy of our whole lives.

Provide counselling and guidance in local schools and wherever we are needed. We recognize the necessity to provide a counselling service that reflects the needs the growing young population. With this in mind, we are currently looking at the feasibility of providing an e-based service utilizing email; messenger and text based counselling systems.

To Help the young population deal with a wide range of issues – bullying, abuse, anger, depression, addictions, psychological distress, rape, behavioural problems, eating disorders, conflict with parents and carers, crime, teenage pregnancy and sexual health problems or difficulties with relationships. And sometimes simply for an opportunity to talk about what’s going on in their lives.

The main goals of the proposed “Child and Youth Centre” are:

- - Promoting Pastoral and Professional counselling

- Supporting families, particularly as they deal with teenager children.

- Tackling violence against children and young adults and improving the way we deal with young people who struggle with addictions and who commit crimes.

- Empowering local volunteers to build cohesion within their communities and as a bridge between families and young people.
