Distress of the Nations
Events over recent months have created a dire situation among the nations of th world and in the world of 
international finances. Natural disaters adversely affect the economy. For 
instance, The Times of 10 of Setember harolds that Britain is facing its worst harvest for the least 40 years as thirty per cent of the country’s grain lies in waterlogged or sodden ground.The United States has witnessed massive outbreaks in tornado and hurricane activity, causing death and destriction even as drought conditions still grip portions of that country, as well as Australia. Demage assessments are in the billions of dollars, but they do not take into consideration the long-term cost to the economy, which will be considerable. 
Many nations of the world experience cyclenes, earthquakes, flooding and warfare. The one item that has touched everyone has been the general rise of the price of oil. Add to that, the reduction of food supplies, along with the consequent skyrocket pricing of food among nations of the world, an you can see why we have a possible economy catastrophe in the making.
The financial strain among nations is partly responsible for setting the stage for the world-shaming event that were long ago prophesised in the Holy Bible. A careful study of its pages shows how God is going to react to our increasingly lawless behaviour and conduct.
The Prophet Jeremy addresses this in chapter 25:30-31: “Now prophesy all these words against them and say to them: ”The LORD will roar from on high; he will thunder from his holy dwelling and roar mightily against his land. He will shout like those who tread the grapes, shout against all who live on the earth. The tumult will resound to the ends of the earth, for the LORD will bring charges against the nations; he will bring judgment on all mankind and put the wicked to the sword,’ “ declares the LORD.”
You owe it to yourself to learn what Jesus Christ meant when referring to “the beginning of sorrows” (Mat 24:8). In addition, He spoke of a time when the nations of the world would be in a state of incredibtle anguish: “there will be signs in the sun, in the moon and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations… men’s heart failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.” (Luke 21:25-26)
The coming economic earthquake will rearrange the global community as we know it. Desperate measures will be taken to keep the world’s economies from total collapse.
